Memorial service for Dr. Garth A. Steele was Monday at the First Presbyterian Church of Canoga Park, Calif. Burial was at Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth, Calif. Dr.

Steele, former pastor of Emanuel Presbyterian Church in Spokane, died Feb. 17. He was 75. He was born in Edgely, N.D., and attended school in North Dakota, Minnesota and Montana. He graduated from Whitworth College, where he was elected president of the student body and was named captain of the football team his senior year.

Dr. Steele entered San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo, where he received a graduate degree. He served as pastor of the Emanuel Presbyterian Church in Spokane, the Boulevard Park Presbyterian Church in Seattle, and the First Presbyterian Church in Canoga Park. Dr. Steele helped lead development and construction of new facilities in all three locations.

Church membership increased greatly during his tenure. From 1960 to 1964, as executive director of Presbyterian Ministries Inc. in the Washington State Synod, he developed, constructed and managed two retirement residences in Seattle, a hospital in Anchorage, Alaska, and a retirement home in Spokane. In 1954 he was named Junior Chamber of Commerce Man of the Year for Seattle and the state of Washington. In 1959 he was awarded a Doctor of Divinity degree from Whitworth College.

In 1982 he was awarded the Whitworth College Distinguished Pastoral Service Award. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Steele, at the home; three sons, Garth Steele Jr. of Cheney, and David Steele and Mark Steele, both of Seattle; a daughter, Mary Steele of Santa Barbara, two brothers, Everett Steele of Hamilton, and Don Steele of San Diego; and seven grandchildren. Arthur Rosholt Sr. Sandpoint Service for Arthur olt Sr.

is scheduled Raymond Roshfor 10:30 a.m. today at the Coffelt Funeral Home in Sandpoint. Mr. Rosholt, retired owner of Rosholt Shoe Repair, died Saturday. He was 82.

He was born in Dover, Idaho, and was raised in Sandpoint, where he attended school. He graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1928. Mr. Rosholt worked in the logging and pole industry operating a logging camp for McFarland Pole Co. He married Lila H.

Hilligoss in 1933. In 1943 he bought Rosholt Shoe Repair, established in 1931, from his father. He retired in 1977 because of poor health. Mr. Rosholt was a member of the Kootenai (Idaho) Community Church and Elks Club 1376.

Survivors include his wife, at the home; three sons, Darrell Rosholt of Sandpoint, Art Rosholt Jr. of Kootenai, and Jan Rosholt of Seattle; a daughter, Cathy Rosholt of Spokane; two brothers, William Rosholt of Spokane and Allen Rosholt of Lewiston; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Electa Blair Spokane Service for Electa M. Blair is planned for noon Thursday at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home followed by burial at Riverside Memorial Park. Ms.

Blair, a homemaker, died Saturday. She was 99. She was born in Browning, and moved to Almira, in 1901. She moved to Spokane in 1916. Ms.

He later moved to Moses Lake. Mr. Dunhaver did volunteer work as an interview coach for the Miss Moses Lake Pageant. He also recorded books for the blind. Survivors include his wife, Jean Dunhaver, at the home; his mother, Opal Baxter of Eugene, a brother, Herbert Dunhaver of Las Vegas, and two sisters, Pat Mase of Santa Maria, and Koelle Larsen of Bellingham.

Misti- Jo McClure Sandpoint Memorial service for Misti-Jo Dawn McClure is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Sandpoint. The Kingdom of Jehovah's Witness and Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint are in charge of arrangements. Miss McClure, a devout Jehovah's Witness, died Friday after a long battle against cystic fibrosis. She was 14.

She was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, and later moved to Sandpoint. She attended Bonner County schools for two years. She was a member of the Sandpoint West Athletic Club. Miss McClure worked hard for fund-raising events, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Children's Miracle Network Telethon. She wrote a small book on what is like to be a teenager with cystic fibrosis.

Survivors include her mother, Susan McClure of Sandpoint; her father and stepmother, James and Mary McClure; five brothers, David McClure of Texas, Douglas McClure of Chehalis, and James McClure, Shane McClure, and Preston McClure, all of Fairbanks; and her grandmother and greatgrandparents. She was 86. She was born in Carroll, Iowa, and graduated from Iowa State Teachers College. She taught primary grades in Iowa. Mrs. Scheer moved to LaCrosse in 1942 and taught school in LaCrosse and Rosalia, Wash.

She married John Scheer in 1943. Mrs. Scheer earned a bachelor of arts degree in education from Eastern Washington University in 1951. She and her husband moved to Longview, and she taught school for 20 years before retiring in 1971. In 1974 they moved to the Riverview Terrace retirement center in Spokane.

Mrs. Scheer was a 51-year member of St. John Eastern Star Golden Link Chapter 121. Mr. Scheer died in 1989.

Survivors include a brother, James B. Helmer of Schaumburg, and many nieces and nephews. at the Potlatch Mill. He later worked as a janitor at the Latah County Courthouse in Moscow until retiring in 1972. Mr. Kellmer also worked for the Potlatch School District as a bus driver for many years. He moved to the Moscow Care Center years ago.

He was a member of Potlatch Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10300. Survivors include his wife, at the Golden Years Retirement home in Moscow; a son, Roger Kellmer of Bayview, Idaho; three grandchildren and two great Paul Danner Spokane Graveside service for Paul S. Danner is planned for 1 p.m. today at Riverside Memorial Park. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Danner, a retired postal worker, died Friday. He was 70. He was born in Hastings, and moved to Spokane 37 years ago. He worked in radio communications for the state and the Central Intelligence Agency.

He retired from the Postal Service in 1977. Mr. Danner was a member of Eagles Aerie 2, the Eagles Golf Team and the Eagles Bowling Team. He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 51 and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Survivors, include his wife, Betty: Danner, at the home; a daughter, Linda Albert of Chattaroy; a son, Daniel Danner of North Carolina; and four grandchildren. George Dutt Sandpoint A memorial service for George Dutt is planned for a later date.

Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Dutt died Thursday at age 81. He was born in Bismark, N.D., and was raised in North Dakota, Montana and Washington. He was a farmer and a carpenter in construction.

He later worked in clothing manufacturing and then worked on dams in Washington, Wyoming, Montana and Utah. He also worked on parking garages in Spokane. In 1970 Mr. Dutt moved to Sandpoint, where he owned and operated a well-casing business. Survivors include a sister, Amelia Eichelt of Janesville, and numerous nieces and nephews."
